The heel of my favorite pair of dress shoes began to come off after about 4 years of wear and tear. The repair replaced the sole and heel of the shoe making them look and feel about brand new. $35 included the materials and service including tax. Overall it was a great deal.
Review of Service
The shop I used was a fix while you wait type of store, unfortunately they didn't have the correct materials that were needed to repair my favorite pair of shoes. Since I wear them just about every day I was willing to pay almost anything for them to be repaired. The final product was perfect and I couldn't be happier. You can tell that the sole of the shoe is a little bit different than the one that came with the original shoe, but that's to be expected since the shoe is no longer made. Other than that the shoe should have another 4 years of heavy use in them. If necessary I will come back in another 4 years to have them repaired again. Definitely recommend this cobbler.
Tips
If you're set on getting the original sole of the shoe replaced with the exact sole you will be disappointed, but they still use the highest quality materials so you can be sure that they will still look and work great.
