Service included removal of the old crown and replacing it with a new one. The old crown was removed for cosmetic reasons only. Since gums recede with time there was a dark line between the tooth and gums. Not a pretty sight. Therefore the old crown had to go and a different, white sublayer was placed underneath the crown, so hopefully it will not have to be replaced again.
Review of Service
The dentist is very professional. The office has all the latest equipment and gadgets to make the job easier and less painful. The dentist and office staff is very friendly. I have been with them for many years.
Tips
If you have to have a crown placed on your tooth, make sure that below the crown is material that will not show off later when your gums recede. Ask your dentist. Maybe this is done now automatically, but check just to make sure, so you do not go through the process two times, or more.
