the Cost of a Day Pass for a Rock Climbing Gym

Last month, my wife and I thought it would be fun to try rock climbing. We're not really hikers, so we found a rock climing gym where we can safely climb fake rocks with ropes, pulleys and all the safety precations taken care of. The cost of this gym was 24.99 per person, and inluded all day access to all the climbing we could handle, but the special shoes required to climb were extra, $7 to be exact.

This was one of the funest things me and my wife have done together. We had a great time. The gym we went to had several differnt types of rocks to climb, ranging from a slanted easy rock, to an inclined advanced rock (which neither of use could complete). There weren't any other places like this around, so I'm not really sure if the price we paid was expensive or not, but we feel like we got a good deal because we had a blast.

Rock climbing gyms are hard to come by, but they are way safer than the real thing. In a gym, if you fall you fall into a net, on a real rock if you fall you usually fall onto more rocks.
