I went to a place that does nails and waxing. They took me to a room in the back with soft music playing and layed me down. They used a wax pot with wax and quickly waxed my eyebrows. Took no longer than 10 minutes for the entire process. Afterwards they put on some sort of soothing creme. The ten dollars included $3 tip for her service.
Review of Service
The job she did on my eyebrows wasn't too great. She made them too small. The problem with going to new places is that you never quite know what shape they will give you or if they will do your eyebrows the way you like them done. The lady was very sanitary and the wait was short. But I got the impression that the people who did my nails are the same people who do my eyebrows so they aren't really trained in any way to do my eyebrows.
Tips
If I knew other people who got their eyebrows waxed I would inquire as to where they go. It is best to find someone who has nicely shaped eyebrows and ask where they go and who does them. The places inside the mall sometimes do a good job since they get frequent customers. I would recommend finding a place that you can see someone go in and come out and see how it looks.
