the Cost of Bridal Shower Invitations

The cost of 100 invitations and envelopes was $85 total. This included black and white printing only.

I got a little excited when I first started planning my sisters bridal shower. The first thing I ordered was invitations. I didn't go so far as to get color, but I didn't get the nicest paper, ink, etc. I could find.

They looked very nice, but in the end I don't think they were worth the cash. For one thing, I didn't have that much to spend in total. I think there were much better ways I could have spent the money if I'd sat down before I bought anything and budgeted out all the different aspects.

The other thing is that invitations aren't usually something people really pay attention to or remember for a long time. They take a look at the date and time and usually toss them. I feel like I spent an awful lot of money for something that just ended up in the trash.

When you're planning a bridal shower the best idea is to sit down before you make any purchases and allocate a certain amount to each different aspect of the shower. This prevents you from spending a lot more on one area than ends up being worth it in the end.
