Description of service

I had my over-sized California king comforter dry cleaned. It had not been cleaned for about 2 years. It had been stored in a closet where it had gotten wet and mildew had grown on it.

Review of Service

I wasn't pleased with this service at all. First, I was given a time to pick it up which was about 30 hours after I dropped it off. Fine, I didn't use it daily that would be fine. Then I went to pick it up a full 24 hours after they said it'd be ready and it wasn't ready. Actually, it wasn't even there they said they had to send it off site because it was so badly damaged by the mildew. They told me they'd call me when it was done. A week later I stopped by on my way home from work and was told it'd been done for 4 days. It still smelled like mildew. When I told them they said they didn't have anything to combat mildew with. When I asked why they sent it offsite then they didn't have an answer for me. I asked for my money back and was denied.

Tips

Make sure that you are VERY clear about what it is you want. If you have a specific stain that you need out or a smell get them to say in writing that if they can't get it out they will not charge you.
