Description of service
My husband had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and we were new to the town and did not know anyone. We looked at different hospitals and their reputations and settled on a hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. The Oncologist was very kind and worked with my husband and I on a payment plan as we did not have health insurance at the time. He said that he extends the plan to all his patients that can not pay so that everyone has a fair chance at life. The deal was that we pay 75.00 per month and could have one office visit per week. He was very gentle and took excellent care of my husband. When either of us had questions, he allowed phone calls at any time.
Review of Service
The service that we received was amazing! The doctor was kind, gentle, and understanding. Often, you will find doctors who are not so interested in individual cases because they see them on a day to day basis. Instead of being treated like a number, we were treated like individuals. My husband's cancer was cured and he has been in remission for two years. If it were not for this doctor and his affordability, I am afraid to think what would have happened.
Tips
Do not be afraid to ask for a discount or payment schedule if you can't afford anything as often they will be willing to work with you.
