the Price of a Month of After School Daycare

My daughter goes to an afterschool day care for 2 hours a day Monday-Friday. The cost for the entire month is $350. The afterschool teachers assist with homework and any tutoring the kids might need. Snacks are provided as well as play time. The cost is very reasonable for the service of the care.

My daughter comes home after daycare and is completely finished with homework and can enjoy the rest of her afternoon to play or catch up on reading a book she is interested in. She is getting more attention and homework help than I could provide her with at home, as I am cleaning and cooking dinner. She has made a lot of friends in her after school day care program. Some of which live in our neighborhood so they are always near each other and it's nice that she can draw those connections from the daycare.

Ask for recommendations definately! This is your child and you don't want to hand them over to just anyone, right? Make sure the price and the service are equal. You don't want to pay cheaper for someone to watch your kid who is not going to help out your child. Cheapest is not always better.
