$65 included the one day cost of renting a medium size moving van, assuming that the tank was filled upon return. The van had to be returned before the end of the business day (5:00 pm).
Review of service
This was a no frills rental service, but we were able to move my nephew across town with just two truckloads. The ride of the van was pretty rough, and the vehicle was a standard, there were many blind spots behind the vehicle, and it was hard to see to back up.
Tips
If you already know you are going to have to rent a moving vehicle, go ahead and have everything packed up and prepared to go. If you can get your vehicle rented first thing in the morning, you should do fine. If everything's boxed up, stacked and ready, you won't waste precious time packing stuff when the truck's already rented. When you get to your destination, have someone help offload everything. While the delivery is being toted inside to be unpacked, you can be headed back to pick up the next load. Moving is a team effort, but if everyone will pitch in, there's a much higher chance you will get completed before your deadline is up.
