I had damaged the screen of my Pioneer car music system. Upon inquiring, i discovered that the music system was still in its warranty period and that i would not be charged for any expenses other than the cost of the damaged parts. I was charged $150 as the cost of the new screen and another $20 for some wires and other parts that had to be replaced.

I believe that the service i got was amazing; although the task took around three hours to complete. I was not charged even a single cent as the labor charges. The work was done very neatly and accurately. After replacing the screen, those people made sure that all the functions of the stereo were being executed perfectly.

For any sort of stereo repair, always visit an authorized technician. Never go to any local roadside shop for such repairs as stereo repairs need to be done very carefully and even a single wrong wire connection or any other mistake can damage the whole music system. Make sure that everything is done in front of you so that no part is replaced. Go for original screen; though the duplicate ones are much cheaper.
