Description of service

Well I have a CD Player installed in my Car. Something went wrong with it once. I don't exactly know what it was but it started showing every disc to be an empty one. Some problem with the lens they said & it will be replaced for $70 with a new lens and will be imported from the company itself. The cost was $80 for the whole repairing,$70 for the Lens & $10 as service charges. And now it works fine.

Review of Service

The service was good,They took around 2 hours to repair the whole thing and it was quite neatly done with proper gadgets and all and at the end of the service they played a few songs just for the sake of satisfaction of the costumer. The materials required were replacement of one the parts & cleaning overall from the inside. As this also causes damage to the lens.Generally these types of problems occur & the stereo stops playing, most of the times in case of accidents.I can't say that the service was bad but I can say had I consulted a bit before going for repairing I would have saved a few bucks. It was good value for the price, being a layman I don't know the prices of the stuff they put in.

Tips

I have some good tips cause if you don't have an idea about the service you are about to go in for, just research about it a little bit,be it on the internet or from some friend or someone, cause at times they can ask for more money than required.I wish I had done the same but I couldn't stand my car without the stereo but now I realize how wrong i was,So be careful & have some knowledge about these things, you never know you might save a few bucks.
