Description of service

My motorcycle was making a lot of noise; i believed that the harsh unwanted sounds were emerging from the chain and its surrounding areas. So unwillingly i took the bike to a nearby garage. The mechanic charged $40 for the job.

Review of Service

I believe that the type of service that i received was good, but for a very short span of time, as the same harsh sounds made their appearance again after some a couple of months. The only thing that i feel was good about the service was the amount charged. The mechanic took over an hour to fix the problem. He just made some adjustments with the chain cover and oiled the chain.

Tips

I would like to suggest all of you that never take your bike, for any type of repair, to any place other that the proper service centres that have been authorized by the company to do so. These local garages have untrained mechanics who just make use of the hit and try policy to find and correct any problem. They just fix the vehicle temporarily, to satisfy the customer.

Secondly, always ask the mechanic abouit the cause of the problem so that the same problem can be avoided in future.
