Description of service

This is the monthly price for nine months of dance lessons for two-year-old girls. This price was only for the lessons and nothing else. There was a $50 charge for the shoes and outfit to wear to class. We were not allowed to get our child her own outfit to wear. This price also did not include the fees for the recital at the end of the year, or the costume, or pictures. The total amount spent after the monthly fee, was $500.

Review of Service

I felt this service was way over priced. The dance studio was not completely honest about how much this was going to cost us. The recital at the end of the year was very cute, but way too expensive. I will not go back to this dance studio, I will find something less expensive in the future. This may be a resonable price for an older girl who really loves and appreciates dance, but definately not for a two-year old.

Tips

Before signing up for ballet, or any other class, ask exactly how much everything is going to cost. Get a contract of the price and hold on to it. That way you have something to show if they throw any extra costs on to you. Make sure you and your child feel comfortable and secure with the teacher and the class. No one is going to enjoy the class and have fun if they are not comfortable there.
