Review of Service
My daughter has a one hour ballet lesson a week. It is at a community center with a teacher who has a lot of experience. The cost is very reasonable for residents of the community. There is a wide age range of students in her class. She has made a lot of friends there. There was also an initial cost of buying ballet shoes. The downside to this class is that there is no recital. My daughter would really like to dance in front of folks so this is disappointing to her. There is also not a lot of one-on-one attention but for the price we think that's pretty reasonable. The class has gotten her interested in different forms of exercise too, which is great.
Tips
If you take your kids to a class that doesn't offer a recital it'll probably be cheaper but it will also mean sacrificing the recital. It is good to get your kids involved in exercise at a young age and the key is to find something like this that will get them excited and that they'll have fun doing.
