the Price of Mole Removal

I have had a mole for a very long time that has always bothered me. It is located on my chest. This year, I finally decided to do something about it. I told my general physician about it and he referred me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist removed the mole by freezing it. The whole process took less than an hour and cost me $150.

I was ecstatic to finally have that mole removed. I was very happy with the dermatologist as she was very friendly and professional. I was happily surprised that removing it was so quick and easy. I had no problems with scarring or infection after the mole was removed.

If you are considering going to a dermatologist for a similar procedure, I would highly recommend asking your general doctor to give you a few names. Dermatologists are very busy so be prepared to wait a few months. However, if you are anything like me, you will find it well worth the wait. If possible, I would also ask friends and family if they know any good dermatologists in your area. Lastly, I would also recommend checking online for any information you can find on the dermatologist or the practice. I did this and it made me feel more secure that I was seeing a good doctor.
