Description of service

We had a party for an employee who was retiring. We ordered Italian food for 30 people. The cost was $250 and we tipped $35 to the delivery folks for a total of $285.

Review of Service

First of all, the people we placed the order with over the phone were exceptional. We knew how many people we were planning for and they told us the 3 options they had. We wanted a combination of 2 of the packages and they were more than happy to make substitutions and adjust the price accordingly. They were great about sending us a contract and a receipt immediately.

The problem came the day of the delivery. The driver was late and very unprofessional. He came up and left everything with the receptionist. We order food regularly, usually for lunches though, and we have never had to lug everything back to the conference room, open everything and try to figure out what it all was. We had already pre-tipped when we placed the order and gave our credit card and we definitely regretted that.

Tips

Try to avoid tipping before you get your service from the delivery driver. If they already know what they're getting they might not try to do a good job for you.
