the Cost of Tongue Piercing

The cost of my tongue piercing was $55. I paid $20 for the jewelry I choose and gave a $5 tip for a total of $80.00.

I've had several other piercings done before but this was my first time at the particular piercing studio I used for the tongue piercing. I'd never had very positive experiences in the past but this place was really top notch. A lot of places charge a flat fee that includes the jewelry. This sounds like a great deal, but if you want something particular you have to get the jewelry the piercing price includes and then buy additional jewelry. I liked being able to choose. They were a very sterile place and very professional. I've been to places with loud music and people milling around all over like it was a night club. This was much more like a dentist's office and I felt very safe there. I did have to make an appointment and they were running a little behind but they had a television in the waiting room so I just took a few minutes to relax and psych myself up for the piercing.

Make sure you understand exactly how to take care of your piercing before you leave the piercing place. This should include verbal and written instructions.
