Description of service

I once went for a month vacation in Kentucky. I had some relatives living there. I brought over my laptop, because I needed to do some work. However...they had no internet. I asked why, they said that it was way to expensive. Back at home, I pay $15 per month for DSL, so I was ready to pay...easily. However, it turned out that neither DSL nor cable was served in the area :(. I need to get this work done on time, so I had no choice but to order the only satellite provider in the area.

Review of Service

Cost me $59.99 for a service that should have cost me $15. Also they made me pay $20 for the "equipment" and installation. Said they were giving me a big deal...yea right! Anyways, the speed was average...700Kbps, I had a connection most of the time, but $80 for one month of internet is simply ridiculous. But what's done is done...

Tips

If you ever want to move, and are a heavy internet user like me, make sure that the area has a dsl/wifi/cable connection. You are going to spend a small fortune on Satellite :( Try to pick a more urban area (or at least near a city)
