the Price of Junk Removal

It's spring cleaning and you know what that means? Throwing away a bunch of stuff I don't need. I hired my two cousins to come over and dispose of any junk that I had already placed into a pile. Of course $200 was split between the two so I paid each cousin $100 as well as ordered pizza and a case of beer. Which I think they appreciated more than the money. At least I would. It took them a total of about 3 hours to get everything thrown away. They would load it into their pickup truck then drive it to the town dump where they could dump for free on this particular day. I'm sure I pay for it with my taxes somehow.

Of course they were very friendly and willing to help. We made it into a fun day doing a chore that wasn't really that fun. They have already told me that they would be back next year to do the same. The only request they had was for light beer. Next year I guess.

I looked into services that wanted to make you rent a large dumpster and the cost was probably closer to $500. I would recommend hiring someone you know that will probably do a better job and even save you a little money.
