Description of service

The charge is based on a company that provides heat by using oil. Charge includes $150.00 dollars for each visit (total 2 visits), part that I needed cost $200.00.

Review of Service

The service that I received with this particular company has been one of my worst experiences with any service provider. First, to get an appointment I had to call twice during the day, the first time they told me nothing was available and to call back in the afternoon, the second time they told me the had somebody on the way, I waited three hours for this person in the afternoon. First, this company charges me $25.00 each months for some kind of maintenance and then I come to find out that such contribution per months does not apply to when my heating system stops working and is in need of parts. When I finally get somebody to work on my heating system, they tell me that my system is old and that I need a part that they don´t have available and that I would have to wait at least a couple of days, at the en just for glancing at my system, I get my first bill, $150.00. This was november and this guys were telling me I had to wait for 2 more days, it was already cold, this was a total disregard to their customers since they must be able to get their systems up and running as soon as possible (they ¨check¨ all their system every 3 months, hence the $25.00 fee). Next, 2 days later they show up with the part and take about 3 hours to place it on correctly, and at the end I get billed for the labor another $150.00 and for the part $200.00. The total cost for me $600.00, after that I just could not think back at when I had the chance to switch to electrical heating, but then it is already too late.

Tips

If you have a heating system that runs on oil, switch to electric. If you are planning on setting up a heating system, choose electric it is much cheaper and it offers little room for services needed such as mine.
