Hair weaving is weaving or braiding human or synthetic hair into existing natural hair. It is also known as Hair Integration. The hair extension is woven to cornrowed hair or to small sections of loose hair. Not maintaining hair extensions properly can cause breakage and thinning. The technician must follow 4 steps:

1)When applying tracks to the hair, it's best to ensure that your hair has been washed and conditioned properly. You need to figure out if you are going to glue the hair in or sew the hair in.

2)After, deciding on your preference of hair application. You will then need to section the hair off into three sections. Leaving the back of your hair into one big section, and the front into two sections parted down the middle.

3)Next, in the back section of your hair, make a horizontal one inch parting and apply the hair track with your preferred method. Continue process all the way up until the back is complete. Make sure to leave enough hair out to cover the track.

4)Finally, continue the same exact steps you completed in the back of your hair and do this to the sides of your hair. Leaving enough hair out to cover your hair tracks.

3) Comb weave hair before washing to prevent tangling.
