the Price of a Perm

This is the price I recently paid to have my hair permed at my local salon. The cost also included a trim and a basic styling. I did tip my stylist twenty dollars, and that is included in the above price as well. The perm took about two hours to complete. I chose a roller size that was medium so that my hair would not be too kinky, yet still had body.

I had forgotten that perms even existed until I was asking my stylist at a previous visit how I could get more body in my hair. She suggested a perm and I thought- why not! I am pleasantly surprised at the results. My hair now has a nice, wavy texture and has so much body! The perm smells very bad and it did slightly burn some of my ends that the stylist just snipped off. Overall, I think my new hair style looks great and I have received many compliments on it.

Make sure you choose a medium to large size roller if you do not want your hair to be too curly. Also, my stylist told me that you should never perm your hair if it is damaged or over processed becasue the results could be disastrous.
