Description of service

I had joined a hired a professional drummer to teach me how to play drums. It was private coaching and the teacher used to come to my place twice a day. The duration of each class was 40 minutes. The cost of each class was $30. I continued with my drumming lessons for just a month.

Review of Service

I believe that my drum classes were not up to the mark. Though my teacher was himself a very good drummer but i was not able to communicate with him properly. Moreover, for an entire month, I was taught theory only. I think that was a turn off. The teacher was not very regular; there was hardly any class when he taught for the entire duration. He was never on time.

Tips

Find a good drum teacher is the very first and the most important step towards learning to play drums. Remember to go for some trial classes before actually joining. You must concentrate equally on theory as well as actual practice. I also suggest that before joining any professional institute or hiring a private teacher, you must try your hand at drums, that is do some practice yourself; though you might not be able to produce any useful music.
