I also wanted to try my hand at drums and so i enrolled myself in a music training institute where lessons for all sorts of music intruments were given. I learnt how to play drums for about a month and a half. The cost of the service was $20 per hour. I was to attend the classes thrice a week. Drums were available at the coaching school.
Review of Service
What i liked best about the service was the dedication of my teacher. He was more interested in teaching me how to play drums than i was in learning them. The only thing i disliked about the class was that the though i was charged for one hour, class never lasted for more than 50 minutes. The duration varied between between forty and fifty minutes. Also we were not given much time to do some practice.
Tips
Firstly, you must be interested and dedicated if you want to learn how to play drums(unlike me).
Secondly, regular and sincere practice is required.
Do ask for two or three trial classes before finally enrolling for the classes as that provides you an insight into the teacher's mode of teaching and decide whether you can do with that teacher or not.
