the Cost of All Over Hair Color

I decided last week that I was tired of my dark hair and wanted to lighten up for the summer. So, I asked my husband what color he thought I should go with this time. He decided on blonde. Seeing as to how my hair was dyed almost black I decided to see a professional stylist instead of doing my regular boxed dye thing.

I decided to try out a new trendy salon in a city close to where I live. I got a trim as well but that wasn't included in the price above. It took quite a while to dye my hair..not too long to actually put the dye on because my hair is only shoulder length but it took some time to process probably beacuse my hair was so dark. Anyways, the wait was WELL worth it. It looks as though I was born blonde..it doesn't look the least bit unnatural. I love it and now I look ready for the beach!

If you're going from a really dark shade to a lighter one (more than two shades lighter) you should probably see a professional. I would hate to see what my hair would look like right now if I had tried to do it myself. Be prepared though, once your hair starts growing out you'll need to touch up your roots every so often.
