the Price of a Pediatric Dental Cleaning

It costs $150.00 for a dental check up and cleaning for my five year old son. The price inluded a basic check up, cleaning, and x-rays.

This appointment was for my little boys regular check up. He is supposed to go every six months, but I have three children and it is so expensive that I take them once a year instead. The pediatic dentist and his staff are great. The office is full of video games, toys, and books, which keep the children entertained while waiting. The dentists talks with the children and stresses the importance of brushing their teeth and having good hygeine. The nurse gave him a new Power Ranger toothbrush and a "patient of the day" award. The employees really make the children feel comfortable and take away the fear of going to the dentist. We had good visit, with no cavities or other problems. Although I feel that the price is high, I know the importance of good dental care and it is important to start at an early age.

I recommend to start taking your children to the dentist as soon as they get their first tooth. Teach them to brush their teeth properly while they are young in order to prevent future problems.
