This was the price I paid to have a pair of very expensive (five hundred dollars) loafers repaired. The stitching had started to come out near the heel of the shoe. The price above does not include taxes. The repair took about four days to complete.

I was very happy with the results of the repair. The cobbler also reinforced the stitching around the heel in the other shoe free of charge. Also, the shoes were cleaned perfectly. They looked like new when I picked them up! I think the price to repair these shoes was a bit higher because the shoes were so expensive. They were not in very good shape when I brought them to be repaired because I had worn them so much! I was truly shocked at how good they looked when I picked them up. The people at the store were very friendly and helpful.

Ask your friends and family if they happen to know a good shoe repair shop. In most places, your choices will be limited, so try to find one that has the best reputation. When you have paid alot of money for a pair of shoes, you want to make sure they will be in knowledgeable hands!
