Description of service

After years of grinding my teeth and buying flimsy mouth guards from the local drug store, I finally decided to go to the dentist to have a real, custom made mouth guard created just for me.

When I went in for the service they made a mold of my teeth with this pink, thick, sticky goo that felt like it was going to pull all my teeth out when they removed it. After that, I'm told, they made a plaster cast of my teeth which they used to create the mouth guard trays.

When I finally received the mouth guards I was pleased that they fit perfectly, didn't slip out when I wore them to bed. I was very satisfied with the results.

Review of Service

The service, as at most dental offices, was very pleasant. The hygenist who made the mold of my teeth was very reassuring, kind, and put me at ease. Since it is such a routine procedure it takes very little time, which was nice because no one wants to be stuck at the dentist's for longer than they need to.

Tips

Be aware that when they pull the mould goo off your teeth it will be slightly uncomfortable, but rest assured that it won't pull your teeth out.
