Description of service

We encourage you to consider the purchase of an extended warranty with the purchase of a personal computer. For an additional $100 we received an extended warranty with our most recent computer purchase. Within the last couple of months, we requested a visit by an in-home technician to take a look at our computer. He was able to identify the issue immediately and our computer was fixed within minutes. Previous technicians (with our old personal computer - different brand) were not at all willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. The purchase of this computer has provided top notch customer service. Not only did our technician fix the original issue, but he asked if he could be of help with any other issues while he was here. He took the time to help us with maintenance of our computer and gave us tips on how to prevent any future issues. We have had several personal computers over the years and this brand by far has exceeded our expectations for the first time where customer service is concerned. It is my opinion that you research customer satisfaction rates through consumer reviews prior to your purchase of a PC. Without a warranty, the technician visit would have cost an additional $150.

Review of Service

As mentioned, we have been exceptionally pleased with the customer service provided with this particular brand of computer. I encourae you to consider an extended warranty on your computer. It has been my experience in the past that major computer malfunction typically sets in just when the original warranty expires.

Tips

Visit online websites to read about consumer reviews. Educate yourselves about the operating system of computers versus your personal needs. Compare prices certainly, but don't skimp on the extended warranty. It may save you boat loads of money in the end.
