The price of the service was for dry cleaning of a fairly expensive and otherwise delicate Brooks Brothers blazer including the dry cleaning process, pressing of the jacket after the cleaning, and securing the jacket in a plastic protective bag to preserve the cleaning of the jacket until my next wearing.
Review of Service
The dry cleaning service that took care of my blazer took extra care with the jacket, as it was one that I had custom tailored and therefore wanted no ill will to become of it. The jacket's cleaning was pristine, and the jacket was returned in the same conditioning as it was purchased with, which surprised and impressed me. The cleaners also took the time to press the jacket and seal it up so that I could have it fresh and ready to go in the future, which was a nice touch as I did not wear the jacket for some time after the cleaning.

When looking at dry cleaning services for dress clothing, one of the keys to look at is the extra service that is provided to you when you utilize the service. The dry cleaning process is something that is fairly universal from cleaner to cleaner, so a firm needs to have some distinguishing service to push them to the front of the pack. Look for cleaners that will press and pack the jacket in protective plastic or place the jacket in a carrier. These services may price the cleaning at a higher cost than a service that does cleaning only, but the extras are well worth it.
