the Price of Dog Daycare Away from Home

The Doggie Daycare service that was provided included socialization for my dog with others as well as a report card that was sent home. If I had wanted, I could have paid extra and received grooming and flea control for my dog. They trimmed my dog's nails for free. They also make sure that dogs which stay there are properly vaccinated in order to keep everyone healthy and having a great time.

I was very impressed with the overall professionalism provided by the company as well as the treatment given to my dog. The service offered tips on care for the dog, as well as a record of how she behaved around others. They paid attention to which dogs mine became "friends" with and others which she did not like.

The company I went with gave the option of half and whole days, which was a nice choice. I thought the price was fair for the service provided, but I don't do it too often. It seems steep for a daily routine. Most importantly, my dog loved being around other dogs and the staff!

Make sure to ask what happens if your dog doesn't get along with another--you don't want to pay for a daycare service if your dog's going to be cooped up in a crate all day! Know what time you need to return and make sure it fits in your schedule.
