Description of service
My husband and I have a local diner who delivers food. We order from them quite a bit. An example of a recent order would be $40.00 for two cheeseburgers, two orders of fries, two pieces of homemade pie and two large diet pops. This includes a delivery charge of $7.95 and the tip of $3 and change.
Review of Service
It almost isn't worth getting fries delivered because by the time they get here after sitting in that styrofoam container they are always soggy. For some reason that doesn't stop us though. I guess because the flavor is still excellent. The upsides to having food delivered are pretty obvious. We don't have to leave. We are even able to order online so we don't have to call in our order. Perfect for those rainy or snowy days where we feel like just staying in and watching movies all day.
Tips
You should probably stay away from foods like fries or anything fried really because it will lose it's crunch in transit. If you plan on ordering delivery from the same place often tip your driver well and they won't forget it! We tip generously and our food is always delivered first on their route.
