Description of service
My 5 year old son goes to speech therapy. He has for about 3 years now. We have been to a couple of different places. The price varies at one place we were at it was $75.00 each session. It was an hour session. They worked well with my son. Being a single mother I was pinching pennies to try to pay for it 4 times a month. We found another place and it was a little cheaper being only $50.00 each class, but then they were having a group of kids like 4 or 5 in a session for an hour. I did not think my son was getting the one on one he should have been getting. Someone at the doctors office told me to check out our local Children's Hospital. Great we have been there for a little over a Year it is great money wise and all. He is getting a 30 session. One on one. I'm paying $60.00 every month. I think it's great. They take him in a small room and there is a 2 way window in the room i sit back there and they play and work on the way he says words. When we first went he was unable to say words that started with "R"'s "K"'s my sisters name is Kim and it came out "Tim" Joseph has gotten a lot better.
Review of Service
The service is Great. I'm very happy with everything. They keep me up to speed as to things we should be working on at home to make sure he stays on track and don't slack off.
Tips
You should look at your local Children's Hospital. If you don't think you child is getting the proper care then you should look into changing there are a lot of places you can get speech therapy. Find the right one for you and you child.
