Description of service

This price also includes broadband internet connection - fast speed. Our service comes as a bundle; I believe it is also available as solely cable TV with DVR for about $50 monthly. For this price, we get digital cable service with approximately 200 channels.

Review of Service

We have had service with the same company in another location before. One of the frustrating things with this company is billing services; my husband never was able to get his bill straightened out before we moved and ended up paying about $50 extra for services not rendered - we had to pay this before the same company would install service here. We have had no difficulties here, however, and have few service interruptions. We do very much enjoy the DVR. Although there is nothing more painful than when the cable and the internet go out together . . .

Tips

*Know exactly what need before you talk with these companies; many of them will try to talk you into additional services for additional fees that you weren't expecting and possibly don't need.

*Get a contract in writing; make sure you know what the monthly bill will always be. If your cable provider is bought by another company, consider stopping and restarting service. Sometimes the billing hassles just aren't worth the continuity of service.

*Get a company that has a live representative with whom you can physically and visually interact; this makes it less likely that they will fail to honor your contract properly.
