Description of service

I purchased a bulk group tour through a local travel agency for just under $4000. The price included all taxes and fees throughout the trip. The only thing I had to pay for was airline tickets and gifts for family. I took a 6 week European vacation to Italy, Amsterdam, Ireland and France. Each country included many side trips that were absolutely fabulous as well as food, lodging and travel. We visited many museums, Eiffel Tower, The Breweries and distilleries. We got the in depth historical tour of each country. This price even include the tip for our tour guide.

Review of Service

Our tour guide who had lived in Italy and France was extremely knowledgeable on every location, and the couple times that he didn't know the answer to a question he would seek out a local who could answer it for us. Having this tour guide alone was worth the cost of the trip. We were transported across Europe on an air conditioned motor coach. Which AC in a foreign country isn't as available as it is in the states. During the days we were given meal coupons that were kind of like food stamps/cash. They would work at almost any restaurant in the tourist areas of Europe. My only regret is that I didn't get to see Switzerland. Oh well, I guess this will give me an excuse to go back. You better believe it will be with this same touring company

Tips

Make sure that if you are in a foreign country to have a guide who speaks or at least understands the language of the countries that you will be visiting. Our guide was able to help us learn simple and common phrases to survive when we were out touring alone. I suggest you make sure you have the same.
