Our air condition was not cooling properly, so we called someone out that we have used in the past. While the serviceman was here, he attahed gauges to the operating system. When the caps were removed, he immediately detected a leak in the shraeder valves. He replaced both valves and added 5 pounds of freon. After these items were performed, he checked the pressure, temperature drop, and operation of the entire system.

Of course, finding a company who provides some sort of warranty on their work and their parts is essential when dealing with air condition/cooling repairs.
