Description of service
We pay $5 an hour for anywhere from 5-10 hours a week to a 15 year old girl who lives a few blocks away. She has also agreed to help our sons get their homework done, so we consider that a bonus on top of the babysitting. She also give us a "discount" if she babysits at least 10 hours a week (she knocks off a dollar for every additional hour).
Review of Service
The girl we use is a really nice girl who is good enough to rearrange some of her time to let me and my husband get out to evening classes and events. I couldn't be happier with the job she has done. The boys love her and she is very pleasant and leaves the house cleaner than it had been when I left it!
Tips
Definatly see if you can make a deal with your babysitter if you have an extreme amount of hours. Sometimes we need a babysitter for over ten hours a week, which is a lot. So having a little discount if you're going to have a lot of hours is nice, and some of the kids really like this, since it's like having a part time job.
