Description of service
We began a new website that is forum/message board based, but also includes other content as well. The service was some writing we wanted to add some article-based content to the site to draw in more traffic. We serviced out the freelance writing on another website that provides this service. The $200 represented total fee for the freelance writing, which consisted of approx. 15 articles that were about 500 words apiece.
Review of Service
It worked very well. For a nominal price we got 15 or so very well-written articles. Couldn't have found the quality that we got much cheaper than that. It also helped in drawing traffic to the site, albeit not as much as we had hoped. It seems an ongoing struggle these days to get a site going with a lot of traffic unless you get lucky and hit the jackpot or something. But, the articles we got from the freelance writing themselves were very nicely done, and we were very happy with them.
Tips
My tip would be that if you need freelance writing, go through a website service because you will get a much cheaper rate than you will from any local bureau or news room type service.
