the Price of Storage Space

This is the price for a 10' x 10' metal storage unit with concrete floor and overhead, pull down metal door with a keyed, heavy padlock. The storage facility has well graveled roads, is well lit and open 24 hours a day. An attendant is only available in the office Monday thru Friday during regular business hours.

I am satisfied with the service we receive. The facility is well maintained and there has never been any problem with theft, vandalism, or access. The only problem we have had is if it rains hard with high winds, water will blow under the door or side of the unit. It is best to put things up on skids or put waterproof, plastic bins on the floor.

Check to see what the hours of access are, how well lit the area is, how clean it is kept, and try to talk to someone else who is already renting there to see what their opinion is. You could also check with the local law enforcement to determine if there is any problem with vandalism or theft. Determine how easy it is to get to the facility in wet weather; some of the units in our area are on dirt roads that you would need a 4 wheel drive in wet weather.
