the Price of Christmas Portraits

We got some very nice portraits taken at the local mall with Santa. They did not take appointments, but waiting in line turned out to be part of the fun. They had a very good photographer that got a good group photo in a short time. This will become an annual tradition most likely. The cost included 2 8x10 portraits that we returned to pick up about a week later. We could have paid extra and gotten the pictures printed in one hour. We also received wallet sized pictures.

The photographer at the mall location was excellent. I was surprised at how well the sitting went since we had 3 small kids and 3 adults, plus Santa. The Santa did a good job of helping the photographer with the kids and keeping each of them in good spirits and entertained. We were very happy with this photograph of our family at the holidays. The photo itself was high quality and when framed, looked like it might have been done in a studio. The expressions on the faces were of joy and happiness, which was perfect for the Christmas Season.

We had heard that the mall had a really great Santa that year, so we decided to check it out. I would say you should ask around and see if anyone you know has gone to have a picture taken before you decide where to go. We know of several families that go every year to get their family picture done. These people are great resources in this kind of situation. They know where to go for the best photos!
