Description of service

I went on a two hour walking tour of a cemetery. The cost was $40 per person but we had a group of 10 so the price was reduced to $35 per person.

Review of Service

I was a little weary when a friend suggested this tour. It sounded kind of morbid to me but it turned out to be really great. There were several famous people buried at this cemetery. There were also a lot of really old beautiful headstones. The person who led the tour was very informed and had lots of interesting things to tell us about the different families that were buried there. Some of it was a little sad, especially the children's graves, but it was still very interesting. One huge plus for this is that, unlike most walking tours, it didn't involve a huge amount of walking. All told it was probably only about 1/2 a mile. This made it ideal for our group as some of the people were a little older.

Tips

This is definitely a good option if you have people in your group who want to do a walking tour but can't really walk for miles at a time. Definitely bring a note book to take notes though. I wish I remembered more about what they told us.
