Description of service
We took a train tour from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park. The $170 covered the seats aboard the train, entrance fee to the park, one lunch voucher at the food court, a guided tour of the park, a souvenir booklet, and lots of stops to take pictures. You can't put a price on the family fun we had along the train ride. They also offer 2 day 1 night trip with a stay at a hotel for around $300. For those holiday weekends they offer a 3 day 2 night stay for around $360.
Review of Service
The service we received was great. We took a long snacks and games for the train ride and we just had a blast with family time. All the services on the train were great and all the employees were wonderful. We really enjoyed the views you capture along the ride. You can see everything from your seats. Compared to other destinations this train ride was fairly reasonably priced and Yosemite Park was amazing.
Tips
Make sure you bring plenty of film or in our case plenty of memory on your digital camera. Also, if you are bringing the kids make sure to bring plenty of things to keep them entertained. We saw some riders that did not properly prepare and eventually their children got bored and started to play in the aisle ways. Excellent family trip with beautiful views.
