I had laser surgery on my eye to close up some blood vessels that burst behind them. The cost of the surgery was $2400 and included my follow up appointment.
Review of Service
Due to my diabetes, I had an episode with blood vessels that burst in the backs of my eyes. This left me almost completely blind in one eye. In order to fix it, I needed laser surgery.
The worst part was that I had to wait a few weeks to have the surgery as the surgeon that was recommended to me was extremely busy. While it was worth it to get the best, it was a very frustrating few weeks. I had to rely on everyone around me to help with pretty much everything.
The actual surgery though went very well. The doctor took a lot of time to explain everything to me and make sure I understood the possible things that could go wrong. When the surgery was over they made sure to explain everything I would experience and how long it would be until my vision came back. He was a great surgeon.
Tips
Even though it can be very frustrating, take the time to wait for the very best to be available. If you're not comfortable with the person, find someone you are comfortable with.
