Description of service

It was a church based preschool in Kansas that charged 36.00 a week for three days per week for a child to attend preschool for three hours a day.

Review of Service

The service was poor. I have a special needs child and they claimed they did well with special needs children. Come to find out from his speech teacher and her aide they pretty much ignored him while he was there. I also attended a field trip and they acted as though he and I did not exist (made me wonder what they did with him when I wasn't there???). Also I came to find out that all the kids attended the church they went to school at. The mothers were in their own clique and acted annoyed when I tried to have a conversation with them. Also the school finally told me at the end of the year that they would like my son to come back, however they did not have the time or the energy to deal with him (of course they wanted him to come back all they were concerned about was the money). We pulled our son out of that environment as soon as we found out the truth. I was so upset that I told them at a meeting that the main reason my son would not return had to do with the complete lack of respect they showed him.

Tips

I would definitely suggest if you have a special needs child they need an environment that is respectful to them and that they have people who know how to handle a special needs child. My son goes to another school now and he had a blast. he was mixed in with other kids that were disabled and other children.
