Description of service

Cost quoted above was the price paid for the printing of fifty long sleeve polyester sweaters with a six-color custom design developed prior to the printing by myself, including the purchase of the sweaters from the printer at a wholesale rate. The price of the service included setup, labor costs, costs of the ink, and the packaging of the shirts in thin plastic wrappings with sealing of the plastic.

Review of Service

The firm that we used for the sweatshirt printing was a highly regarded firm whose main source of work was printing jerseys and custom sports equipment for regional youth sports. Our job, though something that was not their main focus of printing, was something that they easily handled with aplomb. The service was fairly expedient, taking our order, putting it into queue, and the fulfilling it in a week despite the complexity of printing with a six color design. With no experience of my own in dealing with the printing of shirts, I naturally had a lot of questions, and thankfully the printer's staff were more than able to answer my questions and take me through what their typical operation in printing the shirts would be.

Tips

If you plan on having any type of clothing printed, make sure you get multiple quotes from multiple printers before making a decision on a firm. The printer we dealt with was not the first one we visited, but in the end they quoted us a lower price than anyone else, and were able to produce a high quality product for us. Ensure the printer you choose has the capabilities to print the design you have - many printers are limited in the number of colors they can handle in printing on one design. Take note that more colorful designs are vastly more expensive to print than simpler ones, so if you have a design that can be printed simply, design it as such. Finally, see if the printer you want to choose will accept printing on shirts that are bought outside of their shop. If this is allowable, you can save a great deal of money by buying wholesale shirts.
