the Price of a Bikini Wax

I recently went in for a brazilian wax and the price was $50. Not including tip. I usually tip about $5 to $10 when it comes to my waxer. I was shocked at how high this price was because I've gotten waxed before in Miami and it was about half that. The price for the wax includes the service as well as the wax and wax strips used for the service.

The actual wax was fine. The lady was very nice and knew what she was doing so I was happy with the wax itself. But I thought the price was ridiculous. I almost rather not wax at all than pay that much for something I'll just have to do again in a month. I definitely don't think a waxing is worth that much money and I don't intend to pay that much for it again.

I guess it depends on what city you live, but waxing can be reasonable or very expensive depending on how common it is in that city. If you happen to live somewhere where waxings are so expensive, I would just buy a home kit and do it myself or use an alternative form of hair removal like shaving.
