I have found a great docotr in my area that doesn't accept any type of insurance at all! He has a $55.00 office fee if there aren't any extra test required. The fact that he doesn't accept insurance makes him a very inexpensive doctor to those that aren't able to have insurance. I went in with an extremely sore throat, and head cold. He only charged me $55.00, and gave me three scripts for meds for strep throat. I was feeling better by day two.
Review of Service
This doctor is wonderful. He is very down to earth and understanding (unlike some)! His staff is great, the office is always clean, and you are alway treated with respect. I like using this doctor of course for the price, but also he gets you in and out quick, and doesn't perform unneccessary test as some might do when you have insurance. My doctor is very experienced, he has been practicing in the same building for over twenty years. He always tries to save me money too, by giving me alot of free samples.
Tips
It's a good idea to find a doctor that you like, and stick with him or her. It's better to develope a relationship in order for him to have a good history on you.
