Description of service

The service was to provide instruction for one week in a camp setting for children not younger than 6 years of age. Class size was limited to 6 children and the the class time was from 9:00am to 11:45 am. The class was limited to the summer but fall classes were available after school hours if one wished to pursue this avenue during the school year. Be advised that prices for fall classes may be higher or lower than the summer camp class.

Review of Service

I was very happy with this service. I have two other children that were too young to attend this camp and had to attend another camp at a higher price per child with less instruction time. I liked that my child was able to work with pottery and paint. The business is located in a residential setting overlooking a river which added to the esthetic appeal. Each day my child came home happy and excited about upcoming projects in the class. It is rare to find an art class that works with pottery in my home town so finding this service was like finding a gem especially for the price of the service! My only complaint would be that some of the items that were made by my child did split and break. Because they are made in such a way that they can't be glued together, these items are forever lost.

Tips

Do comparison shopping when looking for an art class for your child! Keep in mind that there may be classes available in your area that work with different materials other than paints and canvas.
