Description of service

I paid to have a new rear wheel installed on my bike. The wheel itself cost $23.99, plus about $2.00 in taxes, and about $6.00 for labor. The labor was inexpensive because it did not take long for the mechanic to replace the wheel. I waited and browsed the store while my wheel was replaced.

Review of Service

The service I received was excellent, the wheel replacement was very fast, and the mechanics were helpful, and explained why my wheel needed to be replaced. They also discussed with me the different brands of wheels I could buy, and the differences between those brands.

Tips

If you need a similar service done, its best to call a few bike shops ahead of time and ask for their pricing information. That way you won't have to waste time driving around to different shops to figure out what the best price for a bike wheel is. Also, if your bike is an older bike, repair shops sometimes don't have the parts necessary to fix your bike on hand; they may need to order those parts. If this is the case, you should be prepared to wait a few days for your bike repair to be finished, not just a few minutes.
