Description of service

i received a 90 minute massage from a local spa in November. The cost was $90 plus tax. But I also tipped the masseuse an additional $10 tip. The spa was a newly opened and was offering the 90 minute special for $90.00 plus the tax. It was a $1.00 a minute but you had to purchase the 90 minutes. I received a soft massage as I do not like the Swedish kind.

Review of Service

I did not really like the 90 minutes. Although the service was good somehow I felt rushed. The Spa itself was beautifully decorated and the staff were attentive enough. The music played was good. The staff just didn't seem to be up to par on what a massage session was. I had to ask for the lights to be lowered and have a sheet over me. The masseuse was fairly good but I have had better. I think I will stick to the 1 hour massages. No ambiance was there at all. I feel a 90 minute massage is probably just too long. The price was okay and the service was acceptable but not the greatest.

Tips

It would probably be a good idea to check the spa you are having your 90 minute massage at before committing to it. Also think twice about it as it really is a long time. If they may have done a facial massage to be included in the 90 minutes it would have been better.
